Parasailing in Puerto Vallarta

Parasailing in Puerto Vallarta

January 5 2012

If you''ve been in Puerto Vallarta for even just a few hours, you''ve no doubt noticed the parasailers (parachuters being propelled by boats) seen flying over the beach skyline.

Are you ready to give it a try? Puerto Vallarta is the perfect place for parasailing and other water sports because the water is exceptionally calm deep in the Banderas Bay, where Puerto Vallarta is located.

Don''t worry about searching online for a parasailing tour company or booking an appointment at a tour booth on the sidewalk. Simply go to the nearest beach and you''ll see parasailing companies set up, ready and waiting for you. The parasailing rides typically last 15 minutes and will take you from one end of the city to the other, several hundred feet up. There will be a team on the ground to help you get your gear and safety equipment on and again when you come in for your landing. Safety is a top priority for everyone involved. There is almost always bilingual staff there to answer your questions and explain what to do.

\r\n Most of the parasailing outfits along the beaches also rent jet skis and give “banana rides.” Jet skis can typically be rented by the hour, half day, or full day. All rentals include the use of a life jacket. Many of these water sport rentals accept both US and Canadian dollars, as well as pesos, of course.
