Thanksgiving Day is a U.S. and Canadian holiday celebrated in Canada on the second Monday in October (falling on October 14th this year) and in the U.S. on the last Thursday of November (falling on the 28th this year), a celebration of the blessings of the previous year and a good harvest.

Puerto Vallarta looks to these dates as a signal to prepare to receive hundreds of visitors from around the world, seeking an unforgettable experience and unique Thanksgiving celebration.

The most prestigious restaurants in the area are now preparing for this (U.S.) festive weekend, filled with excellent dishes of the highest quality which will delight even the most discerning palate. Downtown area bars and restaurants are already prepared for the celebration.

This destination has different activities for you during your stay; for example, explore the historic downtown, taking the Malecon route or strolling by the beautiful and colorful Rio Cuale Island. You can enjoy the incredible sunsets that can be seen from this part of the Pacific Ocean or board a vessel and go admire the humpback whales which recently arrived in the bay. All this and more is here for you to get the most out of your stay in this beautiful city.

We also invite you to look around the most transited areas on Thursday, November 28th, because in Puerto Vallarta, Thanksgiving Day is an all-out celebration.

Hope to see you here!
