Puerto Vallarta Appoint New Promotions Manager as Part of Tourism Board’s Restructuring
The Tourism Board of Puerto Vallarta has named Eduardo Paramo as its new Director of Promotions where he will be in charge of developing and implementing a destination promotion strategy across the many markets the destination is targeting, including Canada, the United States, Mexico, South America and Europe.
Paramo has over 15 years of experience in travel and tourism, promoting destinations and hotels across Mexico with quantifiable results. He has also been instrumental in creating alliances with key international entities such as AAA, Trip advisors and Leading hotels of the World, and local and federal government representatives. Paramo Eduardo was born in Mexico City and is a graduate of the University of Guadalajara and likewise held several courses focused on managing potential markets for Mexico.
This recent appointment follows other important changes in the Puerto Vallarta Tourism, in March, Rolando Miravete, a 30-year hotel management veteran, joined the board as its Executive Director, overseeing all of the activities the promotional institution carries out and in June, Maile Johnston, was named Public Relations Manager and will manage the PR campaigns the destination is running in Northamerica, South America and Europe.
