FIVB Beach Volleyball Puerto Vallarta Open 2014.
Sixty-four teams from at least 40 countries and 5 continents will be converging at the FIVB Puerto Vallarta Beach Volleyball Open 2014 that will be held May 5-11. This event is part of the FIVB’s professional world circuit in beach volleyball, and pulls together the world’s best athletes from five continents, in both the men and women’s divisions (32 teams per division). It is an event supported by FIVB, NORCECA and FMBV, scoring for classification to the Rio Olympic Games 2016.
The competition will be held at the State Pension property by Playa Camarones (Camarones Beach), where the Guadalajara 2011 Panamerican Games were held. It will be a week of intense competition in Puerto Vallarta, starting at 9:00 a.m.; Wednesday to Saturday it will go ‘til 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 11, ‘til 5:00 p.m.
The event will be televised on a national network via TDN Televisa sports and will be transmitted worldwide in 180 countries on 5 continents. You can follow the transmission live via www.laola.tv.
