Vallarta Bird Festival 2015
Mexico is known as one of the Megadiverse countries in the world. Puerto Vallarta and the Banderas Bay region enjoy a vast lot. Home to more than 300 bird species, 30 endemic, than can be appreciated at some of the many ecosystems sorrounding the area: mangroves, coastal lagoons, wetlands, tropical forests, jungles, tropical deciduous forests, thorn forests, pine and oaks forests, tropical ecotones, and pine evergreen forests. Enjoying the beauty of paradise calls for the duty to protect and educate to preserve. With these in mind, the Vallarta Bird Conservancy has been organizing the Vallarta Bird Festival for four consecutive years. Offering birding tours, workshops and lectures to share the knowledge of professionals and experts. Tours to El Quelele, El Salado estuary, Rancho Primavera, Boca de Tomates and many others, even a special workshop designed for kids from 7 to 12 at Biblioteca los Mangos.
