Puerto Vallarta has 3 dramatically contrasted golf courses that challenge even the most seasoned players. Golfing in this resort will undoubtedly be an unforgettable experience; the greens couldn't be greener and the view more spectacular as you tee up to play any of the 54 amazing holes settled between mountains and ocean.
Three courses are available to avid golfers in this idyllic year-round location. Marina Vallarta is an 18-hole course designed by the famous American architect, Joe Finger. A par-71, it is located only a stone's throw from world-class beachfront resorts. Every December, this hacienda-style clubhouse hosts the International Pro AM, one of the largest golf tournaments in the world.
Vista Vallarta, a Jack Nicklaus signature design, 7,057 yard, par-72, sits at the highest elevation of all three courses in Vallarta. It is characterized by a breathtaking ocean view of Puerto Vallarta, grassy hillsides, dense forest palms and giant ficus, grassy hills and natural creeks.
Vista Vallarta clubhouse shares a couse with a dramatic 18-hole course designed by Tom Weiskopf, in dramatic contrast to from Vista's first course. Built on the property's lower west end, this 72-par course simply takes golfers from the clubhouse to extreme terrain with dense jungles, deep ravines and swift creeks. Weiskopf did a masterful job of blending the elevations and natural features into an incredible playing experience from the 1st green to the driveable 18th.
The courses enjoy full-service club-houses, on-course F&B service, practice ranges, practice greens, caddies, carts, corporate outings and golf tournaments.
