The famous- or is that infamous? - Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are back in Mexico for a second time in as many years. The beautiful bevy of women has once again selected Mexico as their backdrop the photo shoot of the 2012 calendar. The calendar, a huge hit amongst football fans will feature Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta equally in the calendar. Both of Mexico´s leading beach destinations are combining promotional efforts under the slogan "Two Paradises, One Destination," which is being promoted by Grupo Marival’s General Manager Alfonso Rizzuto.

Puerto Vallarta to feature in Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders' calendar.

The photo shoot of the 2012 calendar in Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta being held now (April 28 to May 5) will generate an important exposure for both destinations and for Grupo Marival, which will be featured not only in the calendar, but also in local television advertising and in the Dallas Cowboys stadium during their games as locals.

The Dallas Cowboys is one of the most renowned football team thanks in part to its easy marriage to many successful TV franchises over the years. The cheerleaders have been featured in a huge host of syndicated programs over the years. With followers from all over the globe, their games have some of the highest audience ratings for sporting events, and their cheerleaders are known as "America’s Sweethearts" because of their beauty. They’ve become a true phenomenon that catches both the public’s and the media’s attention.

The seemingly effortless ability of the cheerleaders to draw the world media attention by doing little more than jumping up and down and smiling simultaneously is what makes the contract with the Grupo Marivel so important, particularly as Texas is such an important market for both destinations. A year’s worth calendar of a beautiful bevy of bikini clad beauties on the beach is sure to bemuse and bewitch.

Last April 15, both Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta signed a joint collaborative agreement though the government of the states of Nayarit and Jalisco respectively, with Grupo Marival. During a press conference, participants highlighted the importance of having a joint strategy that allows promoting the concept of "Two Paradises, One Single Destination: Mexico."

Two cheers for collaboration!
