Progress in the Works of the Malecon in Puerto Vallarta

The remodeling of the Puerto Vallarta Malecón is one of the most important tasks being undertaken at present.
Currently the sidewalks in front of establishments that line the Malecon is under way, and the sidewalks will be adorned with traditional rugs. The bases for the sculptures are being laid in order to bring the walking tour to life, and the cobblestone for the two-lane avenue that runds along the Malecon is almost finished, and the detail work on the garden receptacles is in progress, from Calle 31 de Octubre until the Lighthouse.
Accompanied by Councillors Gloria Palacios councilors and Areli Guerrero Flores Ponce, the Municipal Trustee, Fernando Castro Rubio and other City officials, the mayor oversaw the rapid pace with which work is carried out both in this tourist walk and at intersections.
Similarly, it will begin the cleanup of the entire area with the aim to please and delight the tourists and native Vallartans for the long weekend, all materials, tools, equipment and fencing will be removed. It is expected that families will take advantage of this free space, so that the work will be suspended from 3 pm on September 15th and will not resume until next Monday, so that visitors can travel without hindrance or mishap one in the area and have easy access to the various establishments along the Malecon.
Grids will also be placed in storm drains constructed in streets perpendicular to the waterfront, for the capture of rainwater, thus ensuring the safety of those who are flocking to this walking tour during the weekend, which is expected to have a very high number of visitors.
Then the mayor's entourage Vallarta and municipal officials, toured some of the works have been achieved as part of the Historic Downtown Rescue and will undoubtedly be a major draw for tourists and foreigners, as in the case of viewpoint Calle Corona Street and the Lighthouse on Calle Matamoros.
