Source: Comunicación Social de Puerto VallartaThe Mayor of Puerto Vallarta, Salvador Gonzalez Resendiz, announced a celebration event for the re-opening of the Malecón, for which he has already given instructions to the different agencies participating in this celebration in Puerto Vallarta.
“I am convinced that residents, after seeing the finished work, will forget the initial irritation that was experienced when the project started 4 months ago. As soon as they realize what has been done in the heart of our city, they will be happily pleased”, assured the mayor.
The mayor said that he is very aware of the economic problem that overwhelms not only our city but the country and above all the diminution in visitors. “That’s why this tourist destination has to renew itself and offer a more new image to all those tourists that for some reason have stopped coming to our country. He said that the different issues that our country is experiencing are the factors affecting the economy of our city, which depends 90% on tourism, and acknowledged the effort made by all residents to get out of this downturn.
He also explained that this work has already given a lot to talk about and good things will surely come, as it is attracting the interest of all those tourists who stopped visiting this destination and that will very likely come back to see this new face Puerto Vallarta is offering the world.
Gonzalez Resendiz, working always hand in hand with the different sectors in decision making, not only in this one, but also the various issues surrounding the town and looking for the benefits of the residents, agreed to develop this important project as it is about the renewal of the most visited sight in our destination, the Malecón.
