The XVI Pan American Games are formally presented in Puerto Vallarta

This Saturday was held the official presentation of the XVI Pan American Games 2011 in the Teatro Vallarta. In just 41 days before the start of the Feast of America, Puerto Vallarta and most important subsite continental fair, it says ready to host the sailing competition, open water swim, triathlon and beach volleyball.
Addressing more than 1,000 people, the mayor of Puerto Vallarta, Salvador Gonzalez Resendiz, Vice President of the XVI Pan American Games 2011 and the Mayor of Guadalajara, Jorge Sandoval Aristotle Diaz Yerena Rep. Rafael Zambrano and the Director General of the Municipal Council Sport in Jalisco, André Campos Miranda Marx, officially launched the Pan American Games in Puerto Vallarta.
Leo, and Gavo Huichi, Pet Pan, were the first on the scene. Dancing and encouraging all participants welcomed the first mayor of Puerto Vallarta that was excited to share the experience in Puerto Vallarta Pan. He also mentioned that the Malecon of Puerto Vallarta will be the new headquarters in the swimming competition in open water, leaving behind the API.
Later, Aristotle invited Sandoval Vallarta to catch all the sporting spirit of the Pan American Games. He also spoke about the economic flow that will bring American Fiesta Vallarta and mentioned that this is a unique opportunity to show the world the natural beauty of this tourist destination.
Campos Miranda talked about some statistics that will make these Pan American Games in Guadalajara, will house 36 disciplines and 42 countries participate. Although Mexico is within the top 5 medal, the U.S. is the one who dominates. The Pan American Village will host 12 000 inhabitants from 12 to 30 October, with 5000 athletes only.There will be over one and a half million viewers and 1.5 million viewers.
At the end of the presentation, four distinguished guests gave awards to Lupita Hernandez, three times world champion Pelota Vasca (in the form of Racquetball) Veronica Cibrian, triple gold medalist at the last Olympics National Athletics and Rogelio Adame Rosario Pelayo Floralia Estrada, special athletes who have put up not only to Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, but also in international events and Mexico.
