There was a successful opening of an exhibition of tapestries entitled "Textile Splendor," a very fine collection of 35 rugs from Teotitlan de lValle, Oaxaca.

The works of the 14 participating artists were presented by Jean Pierre Larouchette and Bill McGrail on the walls of the Peter Gray Art Museum of the Centro Universitario de la Costa.
In the company of art lovers and friends of the Museum, Dr. Maximilian Andrew Greig, Rector of the Universitario de la Costa, and Ms. Buri Gray, President of the Board of the Peter Gray Art Museum, recognized the impressive work of the weavers whose works are also exhibited in major galleries in Canada and the United States.
