Ready for an Unforgettable Tourism Expo

The Tourism Promotion Council of Mexico and the governments of the states of Jalisco and Nayarit are combining their efforts and coordinating their actions, so that visitors to the Tourism Expo have an "unforgettable experience".
Gomez Rodolfo Negrete, assistant director of the Tourism Board of Mexico (CPTM) was at the Marina Riviera Nayarit in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle yesterday, collecting the details for the welcome cocktail party for Tourism Expo 2012 attendees.
Tribuna de la Bahia has reported on the work of organizing committee in securing the site facilities and headquarters where the event is expected to begin in the evening of March 25 and will begin welcoming visitors to the celebration of Mexican tourism.
Gomez Rodolfo Negrete, who was accompanied by the Secretaries of Tourism of Jalisco and Nayarit, Aurelio Lopez Rocha and Rodrigo Perez Hernadez, respectively, as well as Mark Murphy, director of the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Riviera Nayarit, Fernando Gonzalez Ortega, president of Hotel and Motel Association in Banderas Bay and president of the Marival Group.
After the welcome cocktail, the goal is to showcase the best of Mexico to the world with big surprises including delicious regional cuisine, artists, the most exclusive luxury nautical infrastructure and the magic of the culture in our country as well as the natural beauty of our destination.
Rodrigo Perez, Tourism Secretary of Nayarit, said preparations are being made for a a huge celebration to show the best of the country.
"We want tourism professionals who will be here to have an unforgettable experience, to feel our culture and our joy, and to be excited about us and the idea of vacations in Mexico"
The director of CTPM listened carefully to the program of activities prepared for that day while touring the marina and there are plans to take the 6 000 guests to La Cruz de Huanacaxtle to show the beauty of Banderas Bay.
For the party a special menu has been designed with regional dishes, but presented in a special way, using a fusion of traditional Mexico and modern trends.
The Ambassador of Mexican cuisine, Patricia Quintana, will lead a group of 16 celebrity chefs and 8 specialist bartenders working in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit to entertain the palate of all attendees.
This will be a world-class show, highlighting Mexican culture, fireworks and more surprises for those at this special celebration.
