PUERTO VALLARTA HOLDS THE 16TH ANNUAL EDITION OF
GALA VALLARTA MARCH 2 TO 5, 2008
PUERTO VALLARTA, Mexico – February 26, 2008 – Puerto Vallarta’s Convention and Visitors’ Bureau in conjunction with the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau of Riviera Nayarit have announced that the 16 annual edition of Gala Vallarta will be held from March 2nd thru March 5th, 2008. Gala Vallarta is a specialized trade show that brings together national and international wholesalers and tour operators that sell travel to Puerto Vallarta with Puerto Vallarta’s hotel industry leaders.
The trade show will be held at the Convention Center of Paradise Village Nuevo Vallarta (Riviera Nayarit).
A total of 31 Mexican wholesalers and 36 international wholesalers are scheduled to participate in the trade show along with 67 hotels (49 Hotels from Puerto Vallarta and 18 from Riviera Nayarit)
The trade show will once again be conducted in an innovative format that has become a characteristic of Gala Vallarta. All wholesalers and operators will have pre-established appointments with the hoteliers. Meetings will take place between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Each meeting is estimated to last about 30 minutes.
