Puerto Vallarta is poised to reclaim its rightful place as the epicenter of wine and food pairing in Mexico, as the highly anticipated Vinoma WKND 2026 draws near. This celebration is set to take the wine tourism experience to new heights, offering a unique and refined opportunity to indulge in the art of wine and fine dining.

Scheduled for March 5-7, 2026, this food and wine festival in Puerto Vallarta promises three days of delicious food and drinks, unique sensory experiences, international cuisine, and exceptional wines in a setting that perfectly combines the sea, culture, and culinary creativity.

The theme of the 2026 Vinoma WKND event is "Amphorae of the Ocean," which explores the history of wine and its connection to the sea and maritime voyages that brought it to new cultures. This event is expected to be a must-attend occasion for individuals with a passion for wine, gastronomy, and experiential tourism in Jalisco's premier beach destination and one of Mexico's most renowned locations.
Considered one of Mexico's most important events dedicated to wine and pairing, Vinoma WKND 2026 is designed to attract wine lovers, gourmet travelers, and tourists curious to discover new sensory experiences.
For three days, Puerto Vallarta is the place to be for all things wine. It's a place where people come together to learn about different types of wine from around the world. And all of this takes place against the beautiful backdrop of the Mexican Pacific.

The festival, also referred to as "Vinoma Fest," is notable for its distinctive theme this year: "Amphorae of the Ocean"—a concept that pays homage to the ancient vessels that transported wine from Europe to America. It evokes the cultural connections and historical journeys that shaped the wine tradition in the new continent.
Vinoma WKND 2026's lineup of participants is one of the event's most appealing aspects. The festival will feature over 50 wineries from across the country and the world, showcasing a range of labels from well-known classics to new and exciting offerings that are sure to please even the most refined tastes.

This edition's lineup features renowned chefs such as Renzo Garibaldi from Osso restaurant in Lima, Peru, and Jaime Rodríguez from Celele in Cartagena, Colombia. These chefs, along with other guests, will bring a global perspective to the culinary world at Vinoma Fest.
Furthermore, tastings and interactive experiences will be led by expert sommeliers and brand ambassadors. Representatives from renowned international wine organizations, such as the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, will also be present at the event, offering their professional insights.
Picture this: a glass of wine in one hand, the sound of the sea in the other, and a meal crafted by world-class chefs with breathtaking sunsets of Puerto Vallarta as your backdrop. To help you enjoy Vinoma WKND 2026 as much as possible, here are the special events you should include in your travel plan.
The festival begins with a Gala de Sabores (Gala of Flavors) in the Secret Garden at Casa Velas, an experience that takes place far from the noise, in a hidden garden that feels like it has its own life. A space surrounded by greenery, with its own greenhouse, where plants, chilies, and spices are farmed without traveling miles: they are grown, harvested, and served there. As evening falls, the garden undergoes a transformation. As the lights dim, the atmosphere becomes intimate, and the table, no longer a mere platform for setting food before diners, transforms into a portal, a gateway to another world. The space is taken over by five chefs hailing from Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, and Lima. This experience is an exploration of flavor, combining haute cuisine with world-class pairings.
The second day is all about a unique blend of sports, food, and wine, all wrapped up in an exclusive experience at the Vista Vallarta Golf Club. The Vinoma Golf Cup is a chance to enjoy the best of both worlds, combining the excitement of golf with the pleasure of fine wine. The afternoon's events will take place at VINOMA x CMB at Café des Artistes, a collaboration with the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. Here, professional guided tastings will be offered in small groups, replicating the competition's evaluation format for a more in-depth experience.
The festival culminates with the Great Wine and Food Pairing Fiesta, an exciting event held along the seafront. This festival boasts over 50 wineries, six culinary offerings, a pop-up restaurant, an exhibition area, sensory workshops, and a closing concert that melds live music with the Mexican Pacific breeze at sunset.
The theme for this year is "Amphorae of the Ocean," which tells the story of how wine history is connected to sea voyages that brought it to new lands.
The amphorae represent more than just the physical movement of wine; they also symbolize the cultural ties and shared experiences that come together in a glass.
Attendees are invited to experience wine as a story in an environment where the sea plays a fundamental role.
