Unlike other parts of the country, in Puerto Vallarta we have two seasons mainly: Our winter has nothing to do with snow but with warm humid climate and during summer we have the rainy season, which also has its own charm.
From late October to early April, Puerto Vallarta lives mostly sunny days which allow you to get the most out of every day, whether you enjoy thrilling water activities, an excursion along the rivers and mountains or just taking a nice tan lying on the sand by the sea.
The average temperature during the winter months reaches 28°C (82° F) and during the summer months you can feel up to 33°C (91ºF) with an average humidity of 68% throughout the year.
Even if you visit us during the rainy season, you will see all greener and full of life, it usually starts raining at night, so the fresh scent will give you a very unique touch to your romantic getaway with that special someone.
Definitely the favorite season for our friends in North America is winter, since they can forget about the freezing temperatures and be more than welcomed here in our beautiful Puerto Vallarta that many foreigners just call, their “home away from home”.
