On April 2nd, the event most awaited by wholesale agencies and tour operators begins; Gala Vallarta-Nayarit is used to negotiate and make contracts ahead of the 2014-2015 winter season.
Celebrating its twenty-first edition, Gala Vallarta-Nayarit will strategically take place on April 2-5 this year, prior to the the Cancun Tourism Tianguis, which will take place in May, according to information from Puerto Vallarta’s Tourism Board.
The mini tourism tianguis, which is jointly organized with Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, will be at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center. It will be inaugurated on April 2, with the presence of officials from both locations’ tourism sector and Mexico’s Council of Tourism Board (MCTB).
More than 70 operators and 100 hotels are expected to attend, and by the end of the activities on Friday the 4th, around 2,000 business appointments will have been set up for the hospitality sector at both locations.
