COOL OFF IN LAS JUNTAS AND LOS VERANOS

A few minutes south of Puerto Vallarta, on Highway 200 towards Barra de Navidad, you will get to one of our favorite spots to freshen up the high summer temperatures. This is Las Juntas and Los Veranos, if you've never heard of this place, here below we share more information.

What is special about this nice hideout is that it’s crossed by the Horcones River, one of the main tributaries that flow into the Bay of Banderas, more precisely at the beautiful beach ofBoca de Tomatlan , which is why it has numerous recreational activities .

Among its main attractions, you'll find several parks with the famous zip lines where you will give a touch of adrenaline to your trip, by sliding through the jungle and then taking a refreshing dip in the river.

You can also go hiking or learn more about the endemic animals of the region such as armadillos, raccoons or the colorful macaws, so we recommend you wear comfortable and cool clothes.

If you get hungry in Las Juntas and Los Veranos there are good restaurants along the river that even have slides to make your experience more fun; a curious fact, in this place there were two communities claiming the same land, one was Las Juntas and the other Los Veranos but they decided to integrate both into one in order to achieve greater common progress.
