The celebration for the first 100 years of the best site in the Pacific, Puerto Vallarta, should be celebrated with a constant series of social, cultural and sporting events, and this May the place is filled with traditions and activities for all audiences.
The Mayo Fest is emerging as a prominent tourist attraction, and will be from May 26th to 31st at the Puerto Vallarta Lighthouse, where the voices of different musical and dance groups will gather, including the singing school "Alas", Tatewari, La Boquita, La Santa Cecilia, all originating from the port, as well as Salty Paw Jazz Orchestra, José Carlos and George García; PRO Dance, Golden Ganaga, Bomba Stereo, among others.
To conclude this party, the mexican Singer, Pepe Aguilar is the most expected by the audience, because after his participation to close the event, there will be a fireworks show that will illuminate the sky and the sea of Puerto Vallarta.
Simultaneously, there will be the reopening of the Museo Arqueológico de Cuale with an exhibition of the Nao of China, the Galleon of Manila, as well as an exhibition of the San Diego Fort Museum, which will open on the May 25th along with the exhibition called "Project A ", which will show on the boardwalk a photographic archive of the University of California that portrays the entire area from San Blas to Barra de Navidad in the sixties.
As part of the commemoration for the centenary of this beautiful site, other activities are scheduled, such as Restaurant Week 2018, from May 15th to June 10th; The Vallarta Pride from May 20th to 27th; the Mexican Beach Volleyball Open and the Vallarta Azteca del Folclor Festival.
