Scott Fitzgerald's popular novel sets the tone at The Westin Resort & Spa for its “Roaring 20s, Gatsby New Year's Eve Party 2023” themed celebration, which includes a Gala Dinner Buffet with a choice of meats, seafood and pasta stations, premium bar, assorted desserts and delicious taquitos al pastor at the after party!

At Orégano Caribbean Cuisine Dominican born chef Graciela “Chela” found inspiration in those special occasions to create a 4-course signature menu with wine pairing, complete with New Year's kit and 12 grapes. Just a few steps away, the flavors of northern Spain come to life at La Gallega a taberna do porto, a hidden gem in the neighborhood featuring "Aninovo 2023", a special 4-course menu plus complimentary grapes and a glass of sparkling wine; owner Agustín and his staff anticipate New Year's Eve party favors for all attendees.
On the night of December 31, the party takes to the streets and overflows the traditional Malecón with joy. You'll find live music, a festive atmosphere everywhere and, at midnight, a fireworks show that usually extends beyond the first minutes of January 1st.

The Top Sky Bar Almar Resort is definitely one of the best spots south of town to enjoy the fireworks and a spectacular view of the bay.
