Spring Breakers may just be getting to Puerto Vallarta but the destination is already getting ready for this fall when two new properties will be opening in Mexico’s most popular international Pacific Coast destination.
Hotel Mousai at Puerto Vallarta’s Garza Blanca is set to open on November 24, 2014 with an initial presentation at this year’s Gala Vallarta, taking place from April 2-5, 2014. The 72 suites will be adults-only with EP and AI options with prices between $380 and $480 USD per person per night. Mousai’s suites are playful statements caressed by contemporary flair, embodying the idea of a sensual partnership and chic romance while public spaces are defined by their stylish individuality and intriguing design idiosyncrasies. Every detail of the Mousai experience has been crafted to conjure a sense of artful and glamorous frivolity, a lavish circus of sophistication.
Scheduled to reopen in the fourth quarter of 2014, Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta includes 337 guestrooms and suites, all with ocean views. This AAA Four Diamond Resort is secluded in a tropical paradise, surrounded by a beautiful beach and lush tropical foliage. It is 40 minutes from Puerto Vallarta’s International Airport. Guests may enjoy a selection of a la carte restaurants as well as an international buffet restaurant with chef cooking stations. Additional dining options include a pool side café and grill. There are lounges and bars for enjoyment and relaxation, as well as an expansive swimming area with a separate adult-only pool. Additional all-inclusive services include a complimentary children’s club, activities throughout the day, and entertainment each evening. Guests may add to their experience with onsite spa services, as well as a selection of area tours, both for an additional fee. For meetings and events, the resort offers 8,500 square feet of meeting space which includes a ballroom that can accommodate up to 700 guests, and beautiful outdoor garden and beach venues perfect for weddings and special celebrations.
Earlier this year, Puerto Vallarta saw the opening of the 115-room Holiday Inn Express in Puerto Vallarta's Marina Zone. Opened in February the hotel is conveniently close to the convention center and the airport.
Other properties making headlines in the city include the reopening of Villa Mercedes petit, a stylish and well-located boutique property, in Los Muertos Beach. Feet away from the city’s Romantic Zone and Malecon, this 14-room (including studios, junior suites and penthouses), has a pool and sundeck over seeing the bay of Banderas, award winning Chefs and unique architecture. The gay friendly-property is also pet friendly.
