Hashtag #CulinaryEscapes Charts as #2 and # 3 in the United States for Almost 40 Minutes
The Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board partnered with leading culinary magazine Saveur in the publication's first travel twitter party in celebration of Mexico's leading culinary beach destination.
Puerto Vallarta has become a popular destination among the editors of the magazine who have traveled to the destination on multiple occasions and will feature the city in their 2015 travel issue.
During the Twitter party, which took place October 22, bloggers and editors focused on travel and gastronomy making the doubling the impressions of the hashtag #VisitPV to over 400 million impressions during the hour-long cyber party and making the party's hastag #Culinary Escapes the number 3 trending topic in the United States from 4:00 - 5:00 PM EST. Over 200 contributors participated in the party including members of Puerto Vallarta culinary community.
