Lázaro Cárdenas Park is being renovated as part of the celebration of Puerto Vallarta´s Centennial by colored tiles that will transform it into an outdoors gallery with functional spaces.
In charge of this colorful project called Mosayko Vallarta is the artist Natasha Moraga, who is the author who gave color to other emblematic areas such as Puerto Vallarta Sing, the murals at Marina and the pews of the Boardwalk leading to the pier. This auto funded projects is open for the whole community by inviting people to sponsor the project through the purchase of personalized plates tiles that are made during a three-day course taught personally by the artist.
To take these available courses you can book at the project's website and they are available for the months of February, March and April on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday on a schedule from 9 am to 1 pm; they have a cost of $250 dollars which all materials needed for the production of plate are included.
The different tiles to make are celebration tiles, memorials tiles, name tiles, business tiles, custom pet tiles and even a bench tile is available for family or friends.
