VALLARTA WINE FEST 2013

Put down that margarita and raise your wine glass as the 2013 Vallarta Wine Fest comes to Puerto Vallarta this week.

Unlike previous years which highlighted wines from a featured country, this year the Vallarta Wine Fest gets down to the business of grapes, pure and simple. Varieties that will be spotlighted include Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Merlot, all of which are successfully grown in regions and countries all over the world.

Wine tastings for the Vallarta Wine Fest will take place in numerous restaurants and hotelsin Puerto Vallarta and the Banderas Bay area. As well, there will be food pairings to accompany many of the wine tastings and a lecture series open to the public. Attendees can also enjoy numerous cultural events as part of Vallarta Wine Fest including poetry contests and harp concerts.

The 2013 Vallarta Wine Fest is an excellent opportunity to sample and learn more about wines from Mexico and around the world and is one of the highlights of the Puerto Vallartaevent season.
