Mexican agave spirits aficionados must save the date and hit the road up to the charming cozy town of Mascota, aka the “Sierra Madres’ Emerald”, hosting the first Annual “Racilla” Day Festival, held by Consejo Mexicano Promotor de la Raicilla Association.
Attendees will get to savor and experience up to 22 of the finest coastal range and mountain raicilla brand owners and producers, a variety of traditional Mexican cuisine, two options of raicilla-tasting and pairings, and a cultural program featuring raffles, Mariachi live music, Mexican folk ballet dancers, and traditional Mexican Lotería. Evening events include a local taverna visit and a special agave landscape tour at night.
General admission tickets are $150 MXN (including 1 tasting and your choice of 3 cocktails). VIP tickets are also available at $500 MXN (including 1 tasting, your choice of 3 cocktails, a guided taverna visit, and tour at night).
