2018 Puerto Vallarta-Riviera Nayarit Gala, a successful event.

At the Hard Rock Vallarta Hotel facilities, it took place the twenty-fourth edition of Puerto Vallarta-Riviera Nayarit Gala, one of the country’s most important tourist category events.

During this important event, national and international wholesalers in conjunction with Puerto Vallarta and the Riviera Nayarit hotels consolidated, through more than 1000 business appointments, agreements that guarantee high hotel occupations for the next holiday seasons as well regional tourist offer impulse.

Given the event’s magnitude municipal authorities, state officials and Jalisco and Nayarit tourist sector representatives among them Jalisco’s Secretary of Tourism Enrique Ramos Flores, Nayarit’s Secretary of Tourism Eulalio Coronado Mendoza, as well Puerto Vallarta’s Tourism Trust and Hotels Association president Álvaro Garcíarce Monraz, welcomed the national and international wholesale agents; and endorsed hospitality, security and diversity of activities offered by the destination, which earned it customers trust.

The Gala’s welcome cocktail was held on the Miguel "Prieto" Ibarría rodeo ground under the mexican culture theme, expressed by Charrería, agave fields landscapes and mariachi, all present during the evening.

2018 Puerto Vallarta-Riviera Nayarit Gala was a consolidated success that will improve the tourism sector development in favor of the involved actors, but mainly the tourists who enjoy the destination.

All this was possible thanks to the joint effort of the Puerto Vallarta’s Tourism Trust (Fidetur) and the Office of Visitors and conventions (OVC) of the Nayarit Riviera.
