2025 Puerto Vallarta Half Marathon

The first edition of the 2025 Puerto Vallarta Half Marathon is coming in December!

Puerto Vallarta will be hosting an athletic race that is completely different from previous events.  New categories and distances will be available, including children's races, 5K, and 21K!  The first edition of the 2025 Puerto Vallarta Half Marathon will start and finish at the International Convention Center, according to the following schedule:

Saturday, December 6
Children's Races
· Start: 10:30am

Sunday, December 7
21K Half Marathon
· Start: 6:00am
5K Race
· Start: 6:15am

Registration is currently open for the following categories: Children's Race (Sub 5, Sub 9, Sub 12, Sub 16); 5K Race (Free); and 21K Half Marathon (Free, Master, Veterans, Veterans Plus, Best Vallartense.)  With an expected participation of over 2,500 athletes, the 2025 Puerto Vallarta Half Marathon is set to offer prize money totaling over 200,000 MXN Peso.

This sports race in Puerto Vallarta has received endorsement from the Federación Mexicana de Asociaciones de Atletismo A.C. (FMAA), the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), and World Athletics.
