The fourth annual edition of the PVR Michelada Festival will take place on the long weekend of March 14 and 15.
The organizers are expecting more than 30 exhibitors of Micheladas (a very popular beer-based cocktail made with lime, hot sauce, Worcestershire, and tomato juice) as well as local and regional food. The event will take place on the parking lot of Puerto Mágico, next to the maritime terminal in Puerto Vallarta.
The PVR Micheladas Festival 2026 will feature two days of exciting competitions: "The Best Michelada in the Bay 2026" and "The Most Extreme Michelada." These are two challenges that will bring together bars, restaurants, culinary entrepreneurs, and creators from Puerto Vallarta and the region for the demonstration of the most outstanding michelada recipe.
A specialized jury made up of chefs from the Puerto Vallarta area will be featured in the competitions. Each entry will be evaluated by the jury from a professional culinary perspective, with technique, balance of flavors, creativity, and presentation being considered.
The event also includes a cultural, family, and children's area, so it is not limited to adults only.
PVR Michelada Festival 2026 is a charity event benefiting Vallarta Cares as part of the festival's social commitment to the community.
The entrance is free of charge.
