Puerto Vallarta's and the region's premier sportfishing tournament will be held November 12-15 on the Marina Vallarta malecon boardwalk, adjacent to Marina del Rey condos.
The tournament has been organized by the Puerto Vallarta Fishing Club for the past 69 years. It offers more than one million MXN Peso in prize money in categories such as Marlin, Tuna, Dorado, Sailfish and the Best Crew. The International Tournament will award a special prize–a thousand MXN Peso per team per day for the heaviest marlin caught that day.
In addition to competing to catch the big fish, competitors and visitors can enjoy first-class nautical facilities, the renowned cuisine of Puerto Vallarta's restaurants, the variety of outdoor activities offered by the destination and, of course, endless shopping and exciting nightlife.
