On Saturday, February 7, at 8:00 pm, Grupo de Teatro de la Universidad Arkos will premiere the play in Spanish Dos estrellas, un destino (Two Stars, One Destiny); written by Arturo Villaseñor, a Guadalajara-based playwright, in the auditorium of the Instituto Vallartense de Cultura, which is located on Cuale Island.
Juan Pablo Hernández's Dos estrellas, un destino chronicles the reunion of Ana and Mireya, two actresses who cross paths at a film festival. A drastic decision that will change their lives is about to be made by both, who, having experienced life's challenges, are now depressed.
The cast of Dos estrellas, un destino features Ana Cecilia Espinosa, Mary Godínez, and Juan Carlos Ramírez. The play was penned by Arturo Villaseñor, helmed by Juan Pablo Hernández, with Edgar Martínez as the assistant director. Jesús Jaime Caletti designed the lighting, and Pilar Godínez provided general assistance.
The presentation of Dos estrellas, un destino is scheduled for Saturdays, February 7, 14, and 28, at 8:00 pm, in the auditorium of the Instituto Vallartense de Cultura (437 Aquiles Serdán, Int. 38).
