Dance, theater, and performing arts take to the streets of Puerto Vallarta with the return of the 2026 Espontáneo Festival Escénico.
Born in May 2013 on the initiative of dancer and cultural manager Melissa Castillo, the Espontáneo Festival has hosted artists and performers from Germany, Spain, Venezuela, Argentina, and other countries over thirteen annual editions, in venues such as Los Arcos del Malecón Amphitheater and the Plataforma 322 Cultural Center.
The program for the 2026 Espontáneo Festival Escénico includes live performances, specialized workshops, and artistic residencies that bring contemporary performing arts closer to locals and visitors alike.
