The 2024 season of weekly performances by the Xiutla Municipal Folkloric Group will begin on January 12 at the Lazaro Cardenas Park, located in the heart of the Romantic Zone in Puerto Vallarta.
Xiutla's talented children and teenagers offer a selection of colorful regional dances from different states of Mexico. In Puerto Vallarta, the Xiutla Municipal Folkloric Group is considered an institution. In 2024, the troupé celebrates 30 years of continuous activity, having been founded by Professor Enrique Barrios y Limón. Throughout its history, Xiutla (Nahuatl for "place where grass grows") has successfully represented Puerto Vallarta in Latin America, Europe and Asia.
The performances will take place every Friday from 7:00 pm to 8:15 pm through March 22 at the Lázaro Cárdenas Park Amphitheater.
Entrance is free and open to the public.
