The environmental organization Limpia tu Mar announced the fFirst International Litter Fishing Tournament Puerto Vallarta 2024 to be held on October 20th in the waters of Banderas Bay.
The main goal is to raise awareness of the serious consequences of poor waste management in coastal areas, while removing, sorting and recycling at least one ton of solid waste from the sea.
In addition, through social networks and a photo exhibition, the First International Litter Fishing Tournament Puerto Vallarta 2024 aims to make the problem of marine pollution visible.
The First International Litter Fishing Tournament Puerto Vallarta 2024 is possible thanks to the collaboration of local businesses, hotels, non-governmental organizations, tourism service providers and other important supporters.
Limpia tu Mar Puerto Vallarta AC is a civic organization founded in 2022 that is dedicated to cleaning up the sea and beaches, as well as raising awareness and educating the population on how to properly manage and reduce waste.
