From Friday, February 9th to Sunday, February 11th, the Main Square in the heart of Downtown Puerto Vallarta, will host the sixteenth annual edition of the Madonnari ephemeral art festival.
Don't miss the opportunity to see more than 25 participating artists from Queretaro, Guanajuato, Michoacan, Estado de Mexico, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Durango and Puerto Vallarta create beautiful images using the chalk pastel on concrete technique.
The XVI Madonnari Puerto Vallarta 2024 International Festival will award cash prizes to the participants: 20,000 MXN for the first place, 10,000 MXN for the second, and 5,000 MXN for the third place, in the adult category (among other incentives provided by the sponsors of the event.) The first two winning entries will travel to Santa Barbara, California to participate in the festival held in that city.
The participating works will be judged by professional Santa Barbara artists who will evaluate the different parameters to determine the winning works.
