For the fourth consecutive year, one of the events on the PGA TOUR's FedExCup 2025 regular season will take place in Mexico with the Mexico Open at VidantaWorld from February 20-23, 2025.
The Mexico Open at VidantaWorld is one of the PGA TOUR's most important tournaments, where you can find new ways to enjoy Mexican sports, culture and cuisine alongside the best golf. An experience like no other in one of the most exclusive places in the country: Vidanta Vallarta.
Led by the winner of the 2024 edition, Jake Knapp, who earned his first PGA TOUR victory at this tournament, the field will consist of 132 professional players.
The Mexico Open at VidantaWorld has become a tournament that provides PGA TOUR opportunities for Latin American players. Sixteen Mexican golfers, including Alvaro Ortiz from Jalisco, have participated in the tournament since its inception.
In 2024, this prestigious golf tournament in Puerto Vallarta distributed a purse of $8.1 million (USD) and had a field of over 140 players.
