Everything is ready in Puerto Vallarta for the first edition of the Mexico Series Puerto Vallarta WTA 125. This tournament will open the international tennis season in Mexico.
This important sporting event will take place from February 19th to 25th. It will be held on the tennis courts of Parque Parota, located in the heart of Puerto Vallarta's North Hotel Zone.
Over 30 of the world's best tennis players have confirmed their participation in the Mexico Series WTA 125, including the American Amanda Anisimova as the first wildcard for the main draw of the event. The players will take part in 50 matches for a total prize money of 125,000 USD. In addition, right from the start of the calendar year, the Mexico Series Puerto Vallarta WTA 125 will provide players with an important opportunity to earn points for their international ranking.
Organized by the WTA since 2012, the WTA 125 is a prestigious international women's professional tennis tournament series.
