The 2026 Puerto Vallarta Downhill & Free Style will bring together the best mountain bikers on an urban circuit that combines downhill and freestyle. The course will wind through alleys, stairways, and iconic areas of downtown Puerto Vallarta.
The 2026 Puerto Vallarta Downhill & Free Style is set to draw an estimated 20,000 spectators, making it one of the world's most prominent events for downhill and freestyle sports.
This edition will feature a larger group of international competitors, who will come from different countries to be the main attraction at one of the most highly anticipated events of the year.
The course was designed by world-class specialists such as Ollie Wilkins, Christian Fairclough, and Liam Mason, who bring experience from high-level international events. Renowned riders such asRémy Métailler, Kilian Bron, Jhony Salido, and Bienvenido Aguado have confirmed their participation.
The 2026 Puerto Vallarta Downhill & Free Style competition will kick off on May 1 with practice sessions and track reconnaissance, followed by the main event on May 2 and the Best Trick showcase.
