The Vallarta Symphony Orchestra presents: "Summer Dream", a musical soirée conducted by the esteemed maestro Aquiles Morales.
"Summer Dream" will have Vivaldi's Venice dreamt of through the concert for guitar and orchestra, which will be masterfully interpreted by guitarist Luis Alfonso García. You will travel to the most passionate world of Mozart later, where you will experience his "Symphony 25."
The young clarinetist Julián González, who started his musical studies in Puerto Vallarta and now resides in Mexico City, is returning home to perform Weber's "Concerto 1 for clarinet." This lyrical and virtuosic work explores the full range of sonic possibilities of his instrument.
The scents, sounds, and colors of Algeria are also included in the "Summer Dream" concert's repertoire with Salim Dada's "Miniature algéliennes." To end the evening in a grand way, the Vallarta Symphony Orchestra will perform Hans Huber's sextet. This piece has five wind instruments from the orchestra and the conductor playing the piano.
The concert "Summer Dream" is organized by the Institute of Musical Arts of Puerto Vallarta (IAMPV). The event will take place on Sunday, June 29, at 4:00pm, at the American School of Puerto Vallarta.
