Once again, Puerto Vallarta has become a national reference in recognition of the destination's contributions and commitment to gender-diverse people, with nominations in five categories in the 2023 LGBTQ+ Travel Awards Mexico.
These awards recognize excellence in tourism for LGBTQ+ travelers nationwide, promoting destinations that embody a spirit of inclusiveness, service and excellence in hospitality.

One of the highlights of Vallarta Pride is the Parade. Thousands of people take to the streets of Puerto Vallarta in a show of support for the LGBTQ+ community. The Pride Parade is always a festive event that is a celebration of diversity and inclusion with colorful floats, music and dancing. The tenth annual edition of Vallarta Pride was a record breaker in its own right with over 20 thousand people in attendance.
