Del 24 al 26 de mayo se llevará a cabo el Abierto Mexicano de Voleibol de Playa en Puerto Vallarta. Destino pionero en ser sede de eventos de voleibol en México, desde 1989 ha estado ligado al desarrollo de este deporte.
Por tercera ocasión es anfitrión de este encuentro, teniendo a grandes deportistas, nuevas promesas y las mejores escuadras del voleibol de playa nacionales e internacionales, contendiendo por un lugar en la premiación. La sede será en Playa Camarones, en las ramas femenil y varonil en las categorías libre y juvenil.
