El Eden, a refreshing paradise

Do you want to experience the adventuring into the mountains and jungle of Puerto Vallarta until you find a natural paradise away from the city? Then you have to visit El Eden!

El Eden is part of the Mismaloya River, which flows into this famous beach. It is a perfect place to take a dip in its refreshing waters. El Eden is famous for being the scene of the film ''Predator '', starring Arnold Schwarzenegger in the late eighties. Don’t forget to take your picture with the Predator!

This place consists of 2 main areas, one of which is the Restaurant area where you can enjoy a rich meal by the river bank and if you wish you can buy a Canopy tour and slide in zip lines through the trees.

The other area in El Eden is an area for rent of tables and chairs where you can enjoy your own food and beverages, the access to this area has a cost per person. Whether you choose the restaurant area or the table rental area, we ensure you a fun-filled day at the waterfalls, pools, and slides naturally formed by the rocks

The route to El Eden from Puerto Vallarta is approximately a 1-hour drive, you can get there in your own vehicle (truck or similar is recommended in rainy season) or you can also book a tour which will take you there. If you decide to go in your own vehicle you will have to head south until you reach Mismaloya, there you must drive up the mountain by a dirt road to El Eden.

As recommendations for your visit, do not forget to bring mosquito repellent, food and drinks if you decide to stay in the table rental area and of course your bathing suit. It is also important to have in mind that El Eden remains open only from 9 am to 6 pm.
