The Vallarta Symphony Orchestra presents 'Música Mexicana' (Mexican Music), a program featuring a fantastic repertoire of contemporary Mexican composers.
The concert will take place on Saturday, July 6th at 7:00 p.m. at the Juan Luis Cifuentes Lemus Auditorium of the Centro Universitario de la Costa (CUCosta) of the University of Guadalajara (UdeG.)
The Vallarta Symphony Orchestra will host harpist and composer Cristy de la Rosa, who will perform her solo 'Suite para arpa jarocha y orquesta' (Suite for Jarocha Harp and Orchestra.) The interdisciplinary work 'Inestables' by the young composer Diego Jiménez will have its world premiere with the projection of a short film during the performance.
Works such as 'Danzón 2' and 'Escenas de Ixtacamaxtitlán' by Eliezer Alejandro will also be performed by the Vallarta Symphony Orchestra.
