International charro tournament featuring the 40 best teams from Mexico and the United States, including a skirmish tournament, hosted at Arena Vallarta rodeo.

Don't miss the grand opening with the Mexican Traditions Verbena at Los Arcos del Malecon; this year's programme includes live mariachi and the renowned local folk dancers Xiutla Ballet.

All charreada competitions at the rodeo are enlivened with live music.  Delicious Mexican antojitos and traditional drinks are available throughout the event.

The closing ceremony includes the awarding of prizes to the winning teams and the raffle of a brand new car among the attending public who present their paid ticket in hand.
