Puerto Vallarta is a destination with great gastronomic events that attract lovers of fine dining from around the world. It is considered the second gastronomic destination in the country, only second to Mexico City.
Restaurant Week is a gastronomic festival which offers, in each restaurant, a special menu at a set price during two weeks. Restaurant Week invites both visitors and locals to get acquainted with the participating restaurants’ gastronomic offerings at reduced prices.
Vallarta Lifestyles Publishing Group established Restaurant Week in 2005, as an annual festival to be held on May 15 to 31 each year. Participating restaurants, which include the best of the gastronomic scene of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, offer innovative three-course menus, with three choices per course. Prices are reduced up to 50%, in such a way that dining out during Restaurant Week can be not only fun, but affordable as well. Participating restaurants can choose to offer their Restaurant Week special menu either at $269 or $399 pesos per person, drinks and tips not included.
Year after year, this event has been growing and this year 44 Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit are participating in Restaurant Week; you will find one that will stimulate your appetite, no doubt. Buen Provecho!
The high level of Puerto Vallarta’s gastronomy, the wide variety of cuisine styles of participating restaurants, the dish choices each restaurant offers and the possibility to choose one of two prices, already reduced, to go out for dinner make Restaurant Week an event not to be missed.
