Since a couple of years back, Puerto Vallarta has been distinguished as a gastronomical destination that gets better every year, and thus has been recognized as one of the ‘Gastronomical Capitals of Mexico’. We feel proud about it, reason why we want to share with you the upcoming culinary events made for the most demanding palates.
This annual event is an absolute delight, featuring three entire weeks packed with the best culinary events for you to savor the exquisite world of fine cuisine. Plus, Restaurant Week is the perfect excuse for participating restaurants to show off their new menus and invite chefs from other places to join them. This event invites you to explore the destination’s outstanding cuisine at reduced prices.
The 2021 edition, which took place from September 15th to October 10th, featured 25 participating restaurants that delighted foodies’ palates. Here’s a little taste of this year’s magnificent event, so you make sure to attend in 2022.
If you’re still reading this note, then it means you’re a foodie at heart, lover of great food, good wines, and trendy mixology, so you’re more than invited to visit us from October 28th to 31st to the 13th consecutive edition of Vallarta Nayarit Gastronómica 2021, which will be hosting honorary guests such as Carlos Gaytan, the first Mexican chef to receive a Michelin Star; Mikel Alonso, one of the 300 most influential leader in Mexico; Daniela Soto Innes, the youngest chef listed in the 50 Best Restaurants in. the World.
Some of the invited Mexican states this year are: Tamaulipas, Chihuahua, and Coahuila, and Spain as guest country. Apart from outstanding food, it will also feature conferences by experts, Gourmet workshops, Premium tastings, Showcookings, cuisine from the invited states, exclusive outings like a brunch at the Nebulosa Garden in San Sebastian del Oeste or Experiences at Quimixto.
There are three kinds of packages that you can get online or at the Host Hotel, so you can pick the one that suits you best. It can be as intimate and diverse as you wish. Take the opportunity to be part of the workshops, to delight with the tastings and private events, that even though they have an extra charge, will certainly be an experience to be remembered.
This 13th edition will be the second time it’ll take place both online and in person – a hybrid edition – where you’ll be able to participate online with reruns and streaming from their official sites.
During the month of November, from the 12th to the 21st, this festival’s 25th edition will take place. A gala of gastronomy, wines, digestifs, cocktails, and music no doubt. Can you picture immersing yourself into this vast world with the best chefs ready to pamper and delight your palate? In addition to their recipe sharing, talks, trends, new creations, and so much more.
On this occasion, it features 56 chefs and 28 participating restaurants, each of them offering tasting menus or gourmet dinners in sophisticated and memorable ambiances. Traditional and exotic cocktails and drinks are certainly present, pairing to precision with the cuisine offered, a perfect blend to make all your senses be pampered during this Festival.
And to deepen the experience, how about a tour along various restaurants to taste the different courses in the menus? An amazing culinary tour from mid-afternoon till midnight. To enjoy with your partner or a group of friends. Space is limited, so be sure to book ahead of time with participating restaurants.
