Work Smart and Foster Innovation at REDi Puerto Vallarta

Introducing REDi, a brand new space for Entrepreneurship, Creating and Innovating in Puerto Vallarta.  

The Network of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centers (REDi) is a group of physical and virtual spaces in different regions of Jalisco that offer co-working solutions according to the needs of entrepreneurs and people interested in developing innovative skills.

Each REDi is designed to encourage experimentation, co-creation, training and connections with other actors in the ecosystem, as well as to provide an optimal space to work on innovation projects, high-impact entrepreneurship and digital transformation.

REDi Puerto Vallarta began operations in April, inaugurated by state Governor Enrique Alfaro Ramírez, with the goal of promoting entrepreneurship in the Puerto Vallarta area, especially projects focused on hospitality, tourism services and food preparation, as well as retail, agriculture, fishing, among others.

This coworking and co-creation space is located in the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center (CIC).  Upon reservation, interested parties can meet with mentors, advisors, investors, potential clients and suppliers free of charge.

REDi Puerto Vallarta offers the following complimentary facilities and services:

  • Outdoor Terrace

REDi Puerto Vallarta offers in-person and virtual services to business people and entrepreneurs, including: business and entrepreneurship support programs, business intelligence, specialized workshops, forums, co-work and networking areas, and innovation culture events.

Through the Jalisco State Government's Open Innovation Platform (PLAI), entrepreneurs can also find specialized content and training with an extensive catalog of free courses in Spanish.

A strategic project of the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology (SICyT), the Network of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centers (REDi) of Jalisco has been operational since April 2021. 

In its first two years, REDi Jalisco has reached more than 18,400 people in all of the locations where it operates.

At present, REDi has spaces in Guadalajara, Ciudad Guzmán, Ocotlan, Zapotlan, Tepatitlan; and six in the Mario Molina Technology Institutes: Mascota, Cocula, Zapopan, Tamazula and Zapotlanejo.
