Kukur Tihar Puerto Vallarta 2023

Kukur Tihar Puerto Vallarta 2023 will be held on Saturday, November 11, from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Parque Parota Park, next to Puerto de Luna Hotel, to honor and thank all animals by choosing the dog as their ambassador on earth.

Participants will be able to enjoy a beautiful ceremony in which the dogs will be decorated with garlands, blessed by their owners with colored powders called "tika" and offered a delicious treat, as well as a few hours of companionship, affection and great bonding with their beloved pets.

The event will be enlivened by a musical ensemble led by Dharma World Music according to the theme, there will be dog skills competitions and the dog that most resembles the owner.  There will also be lectures (in Spanish) given by experts in animal-related topics such as: Thanatology, Alternative Therapies, Human-Dog Relationship.  Puerto Vallarta associations fighting for animal causes will participate, as well as adoption opportunities.

Admission is public and free, with the only requirement that pets be collared, leashed, tagged and not in heat.
