A collegiate softball tournament featuring a selection of the best teams in the United States.
The tournament features programs from prominent Power 5 conferences as well as the deep pool of strong mid-major schools. The Puerto Vallarta College Challenge began in 2015 and has evolved into one of the premier tournaments designed to launch the softball season. It was the first D-I softball event to be held outside of the United States.
The eighth annual edition of the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge will unfold over two sessions: February 8-11 and February 14-18, with 15 of the most competitive programs playing in both sessions. Playball starts at 10:00 am C.T.
All games will be played at the Nancy Almaraz Softball Field located at the Unidad Agustín Flores Contreras Sports Complex (el Estadio.) The sports facilities are located across the boulevard from the Sheraton Buganvilias Resort & Convention Center. All games will be live-streamed by FloSoftball.
