Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco will become the official venue for the most emblematic trail running series in the world: the UTMB® World Series, which brings together the best trail running races on the planet held in exceptional places surrounded by nature. And they are from now on the only method of access to the UTMB® Mont-Blanc, the most iconic annual race in sport that takes place in France, Italy and Switzerland every August.

In 2022, Puerto Vallarta Mexico by UTMB®, will take place in the month of October; Runners from all over the world will be able to participate to add the necessary "Running Stones" and be able to access the draw for the UTMB® Mont-Blanc from 2023, now known as the UTMB® World Series Finals.

In addition to Mexico, so far there are confirmed events in New Zealand, Australia, Austria, Italy, Andorra, the United States, France, Spain, Hong Kong, Thailand and China, which will be part of the UTMB® World Series in 2022. will join more events to be announced in the coming weeks.

It is the first time in history that Mexico is part of such an iconic event for the international community of ultramarathoners. Puerto Vallarta Mexico by UTMB® is the only venue in Latin America, and together with the United States (Western States® 100- Mile Endurance Run) the only official events of the UTMB® World Series so far
announced in the Americas.
