Puerto Vallarta Downtown
Considered the heart of Puerto Vallarta known for its nightlife, restaurants, bars and shopping. The downtown area is walk-friendly with its quaint cobble stoned streets, white-walled houses, wrought-iron balconies and red-tiled roofs and home to most of Puerto Vallarta’s finest gastronomy, art galleries, crafts markets as well as designer boutiques. The town’s famous Malecón (boardwalk) lines the beach all along this area and the Arcos (Arches).
Imagine spending your day on the beach. The hours in a day will go by, the world will keep turning and you’ll be immersed in this state of complete and utter indulging and relaxation.
Los Arcos Amphitheater
The four grand stone arches of Los Arcos Amphitheater are a symbol of Puerto Vallarta, and mark this prominent open-air theater located downtown at the south end of the Malecon, and right off the main plaza in front of Guadalupe Church. Throughout the year, Los Arcos Amphitheater is the venue for free concerts, cultural performances, and other impromptu activities.
Triton and Mermaid
The Malecon promenade along Puerto Vallarta’s waterfront is enhanced with bronze sculptures by world-renowned artists, giving one the feeling of being in an open-air gallery punctuated by the background of beautiful Banderas Bay.
