What makes so special Puerto Vallarta’s sunsets?... With them, music has different and more vibrant notes. That’s why Reik, one of the most influential pop bands in Mexico, came to our beaches to film their latest music video called “Qué gano olvidándote” (What do I get from forgetting you?).
Nature beauty of Puerto Vallarta just amazed them! Jesús, Bibi and Julio, members of the band, fell in love with sun, sky and sea of this unique place in the world. They decided that this would be the perfect place to match the main theme of this song: a romance that’s still burning with some hope.
Puerto Vallarta supported this project and welcomed as well the band and their staff. That’s what our city does: welcoming everyone and making them feel like home with all the attractions, food, great atmosphere and beaches.
This music video includes shoots from the most emblematic places of Puerto Vallarta, such as the Malecon, Downtown streets, Los Muertos Pier, Conchas Chinas beach, Cerro de la Cruz lookout, among other places.
Puerto Vallarta’s sunsets have that unspeakable thing that makes emotions and feelings grow strong: when the sunsets, love and all kind of sensations blossom with the colors of the sky. Due to these moments, Reik knew that our sunsets were ideal to match with the concept of their new album “Des/Amor” (a wordplay between “lost love” and “to give love”).
This isn’t the first time that Reik comes to Puerto Vallarta for doing some music projects. In fact, this is their favorite beach place! They have said that our city has unmatched attractions and very kind people!
Puerto Vallarta is such a great place for everyone. Reik gets amazing experiences every time the band comes around. We totally agree: Puerto Vallarta is the best invitation to fall in love with, thanks to the sunsets!
